How to Make $10,000 in 37 Days

No, I’m not talking about playing the market, but I do have a great tip. I’ve been researching how to best market Investor in the Wilderness. So I thought the best way to market my blog was to see what other successful bloggers are doing. I’m very fond of saying, if you want to be successful, do what the successful people are doing.

So, I scoured the Internet to discover who were the most successful bloggers out there, when I cam across John Chow dot com. John’s blog is a lot of fun with a great community, he receives over 300,000 page views per month, with over 150,000 unique viewers! Better yet, John has a free guide you can download that explains in detail how to run a successful blog, and how to best monetize it. He makes over $30,000 every month, wow!

Yesterday, John posted about this guy Brian Campbell, an Internet Marketing Professional, who claimed that he could show you how to Make $10,000 in 37 days, starting from scratch, using Facebook. So, I decided to check it out and join Brian’s Facebook group Internet Marketing University on Facebook and see if he’s for real.

I recently setup a Zach Bass Facebook account, but I’m pretty to new to it. By the way, if you have a Facebook account, look me up, let’s become friends. So, I thought this would be a great opportunity to see if I could learn a thing or two about using Facebook’s networking features to expand my readership. I’ve read Brian’s materials and watched his video, and I have to say that I’m intrigued and I’m going to follow along with Brian’s instruction. Stay tuned!

  • I was disappointed after viewing the video series, and felt Brian deceived the members of his group, in that he said he would reveal exactly how he was going to make the money. Well, he didn’t, exactly.

What he did do, was a bait and switch. Admittedly Brian provided good information in his first video series and in 3/4 of his second. So I don’t begrudge that. But it is plain that he is taking advantage of those people that don’t have a product to sell, by enticing them to pay him money to obtain his bountiful knowledge and guidance.

I’m one of the fortunate ones that cannot be hauled into this scheme, because I’m familiar with such cons, and because I already have an information-based product. But there are many that will be left hanging with no-where to turn and with their hopes hinged on Brian’s promise.

Now, there’s nothing illegal with what Brian has done, and he has in fact disseminated plenty of good information, however, he is taking advantage of a lot of people’s gullibility. And so what he has done borders on unethical at the very least.

Had he announced prior to this point that he intended on extracting the money from his first 1000 students, that would have been better. Though I doubt he would make his $10K goal in that case. And his assertion that others, beyond the first 1,000 will pay ungodly amounts for his vacuous 3 1/2 video is sheer deception.

    Shame on you Brian.
  • You really had great insights on this one.. I admire your thoughts!!.. best of luck!!
